About the Course

Hands-on firewall engineering across the three most deployed enterprise NGFW platforms — Cisco FTD/FMC, Palo Alto Networks NGFW, and Fortinet FortiGate. This multi-vendor course covers security policy design, SSL/TLS decryption, IPS/IDS tuning, URL filtering, application identification, NAT/PAT, HA failover (A/A and A/P), and advanced threat profiles. Delivered by engineers with real-world multi-vendor security deployments.

You Will be Able to know:

By the end of this course, you will have production-ready skills in Enterprise Firewall Mastery. You will be confident designing, deploying, and troubleshooting real-world enterprise network environments.

• Configure and manage Cisco FTD policies via FMC — ACP rules, IPS, malware, and SSL inspection

• Deploy Palo Alto NGFW with App-ID, User-ID, and Content-ID security policies

• Implement FortiGate UTM profiles with web filtering, application control, and IPS

• Design HA active/passive and active/active firewall clusters for zero-downtime resilience

• Build multi-zone network architectures (Untrust / DMZ / Trust) with full policy workflows

Prerequisite:

• Understanding of TCP/IP networking, NAT, and basic firewall concepts

• Familiarity with at least one firewall platform (Cisco ASA, FTD, or equivalent)

• Knowledge of routing and switching at CCNA/CCNP level
